Online dictionary (looks great, but I think it may not necessarily be slower than a physical electronic dictionary. It might depend on the computer configuration, and it can be used in emergencies.)

Just try a few words, such as "都对" (all correct), "合适" (suitable), "天气" (weather), "Oxford". This is an online dictionary, and the time it takes for local queries should be at most half of this, around 150ms.
Of course, this website only searches for file names, paths, and the full text content of some files such as md, docx, and pdf. It may not directly reflect the situation of the dictionary, but it can give some clues.
The most important aspect of dictionary software is speed, and currently there is no good software available in this regard.
