Link Lock is a tool for encrypting and decrypting URLs.
When a user visits an encrypted URL, they will be prompted to enter a password. If the password is correct, Link Lock will retrieve the original URL and redirect to it. Otherwise, an error will be displayed. Users can also add hints.
Each encrypted URL is fully stored in the links created by the application. Therefore, users have control over all the data they create with Link Lock. Nothing is stored on the server, no cookies, no tracking, no registration required.
Link Lock has many uses, such as:
Storing private bookmarks on shared computers
Encrypting entire web pages (via URL Pages).
Sending sensitive links through public or insecure channels (e.g., sharing links to websites that require a password to access)
Adding passwords to shared Dropbox or Google Drive links
Sharing password-protected magnet links and torrents
Everything runs in your browser.
